Pre-school nap time

I can’t believe we’ve been friends since pre-school. :)
It’s amazing how we remain together even if we’re not constantly up to date with each other’s lives 24/7.

I ended 2009 wasted
Great year. My head still spins.
All I want is just someone to call my own, without having to compete for attention.
This was supposed to be my birthday wish. But I changed my mind.
It’s also a bit funny to see people wishing you the same thing. Almost 80% of my greeters did.
Then I realized, there is no need. I never felt so loved and cared for. As long as I have you guys, I think I can stay single forever. :D
So, someone else can wish this instead.
World peace na lang muna.
I think this is the best brithday I had
so I am considering myself 19, not 17. Why?
- All of my lovely family members were here (cousins, titos, and titas) except for daddy of course. :|
- Everyone was genuinely happy. You know it when there’s this certain warmth that overshadows things like the lack of food and seating capacity. (My family eats so much)
- I get to kiss all my family members, which we do not usually do, except when I see my favorite cousin, Jong Lloyd. It actually feels nice to do that. I’ll do it more often.
- I received a ton of birthday greetings from friends. I loved all the messages especially the ones that are personalized. It made me cry really. Well okay, only one did. But yeah it added to the drama. Will screencap soon.
- It was the first time I cried out of joy for more than an hour. Not kidding. I’m not sure how I made it that long but I did. This will now be the basis for future partner/s. If you can make me feel loved and cry this long out of joy, then I will love you forever. Srsly.
- You’re never too old for presents, but it’s not a requirement each year. A prayer and a greeting would do. However, I got two of the things that I was planning to personally buy: black high wasted skirt, Howie Severino’s DVD compilation of documentaries and a bonus of undies.
- And yes, even though I wasn’t that much surprised, just the thought of you guys trying, making up stories, and working your brain cells out is already enough.
I am very humbled. God has given me the greatest family and friends.

This Christmas,
My cousin gave me three little self-help books and I love them. I’m not a girly girl (for god’s sakes, I don’t wear make-up and when I do, I end up looking like I went to a party the night before, got sweaty and drunk, then stumbled into a dumpster on my jolly way home) so I thought it was pretty neat and helpful. But it got me thinking: Wait, does she think I need this or something? It’s not that I’m not thankful or anything (like I said, I love them! They’re the cutest things in the world), but when somebody gives you a present like that, don’t you think the same thing? I had a moment of self-consciousness, then it was gone.
On the other hand, my new iPod nano is being put to good use. The first night in, I immediately uploaded my Hanson and MJ playlists with music videos. I’ve never been so excited in my entire life. I love holidays.
Same thing when people give you perfume right? Like what, do you think I really need some or you just couldn’t think of a good gift idea? Haha.

Spent the whole Christmas day with the whole family and my Ate Tin’s fiancè aka husband-in-less- than-24-hours and his family.
It’s so cold here at Summit Ridge hotel in Tagaytay. I’ll be sleeping without a/c. Brrr

It’s because 17 seemed to be the year when I learned a lot.
